George S. Takach holds a first degree in history, political economy, and philosophy from the University of Toronto; a graduate degree in international relations from Carleton University; and a law degree from the University of Toronto. For nearly forty years, he practiced law at McCarthy Tétrault, Canada’s premier law firm. He is the author of Cold War 2.0.   He just published Inspired by Taiwan: Why Supporting Taiwan Matters for Global Democracy. George and his wife Barbara live in Toronto.
